I smile even writing this... because if you know me, you know I don't do what I do for applause.
I do it because it’s the work that chose me. The calling that won't let go.
And yet, sometimes—unexpectedly—life whispers back, "You're seen. You're appreciated."
And that's a beautiful thing, too.
This little corner is humbly titled Much Ado About Nothing—a playful, heartfelt nod to my favorite professor at Morgan State University, Dr. Ruth Sheffey.
Dr. Sheffey had a gift: she could pull Shakespeare off the pages and breathe life into his words. She made me fall in love with literature, with the beauty of storytelling, with the idea that words could both heal and transform.
This list isn't about bragging—it's a quiet thank you. To God, to my ancestors, to my family, and to every person who's believed in me along the way.
I never expect awards. I never work for them.
But when they come... I hold them with gratitude and keep doing the work.
